"Silver Needle Special" - Loose Leaf White Tea

High mountain Tea, coming from Fujian and harvested between late March and early April. Only the best buds which not yet opened are hand-picked in dry weather. They are left to dry without being subjected to direct heat so this precious White Tea maintains all the health properties. This lot is really to be considered by connoisseurs, Spring 2007 vintage, here one can understand the potential of first-quality aged White Tea. Unavailable on the market, we managed to have a small amount reserved for us in Biotea from our producer. Already from the leaves you can feel an incredibly flowery and sweet aroma. The infusion is sweet and fresh flowery, slightly acid with an aftertaste reminiscent of liquorice. A Tea for aging. Especially for those who love White Tea.

Ingredients: Tea Leaves

Preparation: We recommend to use spring water. Given the sensitivity of this Tea, washing the leaves is not required. We recommend the use of teapots in glass or porcelain.

Temperature: 75°C - 80°C

Infusion time: 60-90 seconds.

Number of infusions: Up to 3 infusions.

Quantity: 2 teaspoons of leaves per cup.

Tips: A Tea for special occasions, a delicate taste that satisfies the palates of connoisseurs. Like all White Teas it is rich in antioxidants. Not to alter the beneficial properties and the original flavor it is recommended not to add milk, lemon, sugar or honey.
