But it is also a market model, which sets the scene for five days, inside the pavilions of Lingotto Fiere. The positive forces of good, clean and fair food engaged in practice in the world, all year, consciously or not, the Slow Food philosophy. In 2012, for the first time, Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre combined: one big event that completes a track route since 2004 – the year Terra Madre was born, the world network of food communities – and, together, tell the extraordinary diversity of any continent, giving voice to those who cultivate, raise, and transforms its products.
