This forest Tea comes from the forests of Yunnan, it is not cultivated but grows wild and hand-picked. This is really a special Tea, the sprouts still unopened and some leaves are harvested only under the full moon and are handled in the dark as tradition dictates, hence its name Wild Moonlight. It is dried in the dark for 4-6 days. It is an aging Tea for its organoleptic characteristics that are refined over time. A Tea to enjoy in moments of relaxation.
Category: White Puerh Tea
Origin: Yunnan, China
Taste: Flowery, soft, honey with hints of ripe fruit
Color: Bright orange-yellow, especially from the 3rd infusion onwards.
Ingredients: Tea leaves.
Preparation: It is advisable to use spring water. A quick wash of the leaves prepares the first infusion and makes it more full-bodied. We recommend using glass or porcelain teapots.
Temperature: 80°C - 85°C.
Infusion time: 1 minute for the first infusions, 2 minutes for the next.
Number of infusions: Up to 5-6 infusions
Quantity: 3-4g for 200-250cc of water
Suggestions: a Tea to enjoy in moments of relaxation at all hours of the day. Excellent with biscuits and delicate sweets. Like all white Teas it is rich in antioxidants. In order not to alter the beneficial properties and the original taste we recommend not to add milk, lemon, sugar and honey.
