Yi Xing teapots are wonderful artifacts from the province of Kiangsu, on the western shore of Lake T'ai-Hu in China. They are made ​​of terracotta, by skilled artisans, using a mix of local clay that was once cooked and became of extraordinary hardness and strength. Yi Xing teapots and cups are small (so they seem like they're made ​​for a dollhouse) and are traditionally used during the ceremony of the Gong Fu Cha, which is the Chinese Tea ceremony.
