Jasmine Silver Needle - Loose Leaf White Tea

The tender apical buds not yet to open are collected only in spring on sunny days and placed one by one on bamboo mats for them simply dry in the shade for 4-6 days. In the summer, they are flavored with fresh Jasmine flowers. The Jasmine flowers are picked fresh and brought into contact with the leaves of the Tea and then separated, this process takes place 5 times in different days. In this way, the aroma of the flower is naturally absorbed by the leaves of the Tea. No flavors or artificial aromas are added. Everything, as always for us in Biotea, is strictly without chemicals. Definitely a Tea for special occasions.

Taste: Predominant aroma of Jasmine although very delicate, slightly sweet honey.

Color: Luminescent golden yellow.

Ingredients: Tea Leaves, Jasmine flowers.

Preparation: We recommend using spring water. Given the delicate nature of this tea, washing the leaves is not required. We recommend the use of teapots in glass or porcelain.

Temperature: 80°C - 85°C

Infusion time: 1 minute early infusions, 2 minutes the next.

Number of infusions: Up to 4-5 infusions

Quantity: 3-4g for 200-250cc of water.

Tips: A Tea for special occasions, delicate flavor and persistent that satisfies the palate of connoisseurs. Like all White Teas it is rich in antioxidants. In order not to alter the beneficial properties and the original flavor do not add milk, lemon, sugar or honey.
