The harvest is done exclusively by hand in early spring when the leaves are still closed in small sprouts rich in nutrients. He collects only the tender buds, not yet opened, and some small leaves below (The same ones that are used for the Silver Needle White Tea). After harvesting they are left to dry for approximately 4 hours in a ventilated environment, then follows the rolling by hand on wooden tables for about half an hour after which they are put into bamboo trays where they are left to ferment for about 8 hours. Subsequently passed in wood-fired ovens at a temperature of 80°C for about 2 hours for the final drying and to permanently stop the fermentation.

Taste: Sweet with hints of flowers and caramel, the liquor looks honey-like and intense on the palate, an aroma that is spreading in all parts of the mouth, leaving a feeling of delicate fullness.
Color: Luminescence, intense golden yellow-orange.
Preparation: It is advisable to use spring water and the use of teapots in glass or porcelain.
Temperature: 85°C - 90°C.
Infusion time: First infusions for about one minute, next infusions for 2 minutes.
Number of infusions: Up to 3 infusions
Quantity: 2-3 grams of water for 200-250cc of water.
Tips: a black tea for the morning and for the middle hours of the afternoon. Great to taste with sweet chocolate and hazelnut/nut cakes. Rich in antioxidants. Not to alter the beneficial properties and the original flavor it is recommended not to add milk, lemon, sugar or honey.
